I dont know about you, but I am rather worried about the people around me who either ignore global warming or the threat that Peak Oil brings, I dont think people are blind they are just uninformed.
All the indicators in my mind are there for a global recession, and there is much written about it, except it seems that not many people I speak to are either aware of the ramifications of what is going on in the world, want to know about it or prefer to have their heads in the sand, its rather scary in my mind and sometimes wonder if I am imagining that we have a problem with the global economy, after all no one else is worried, I would really like to speak to others with the same mindset as I have and only know one or two other people who actually think that a world recession is possible and is looming.
I am fully aware that we are at the end of an era and in the begining of another, which I hope is a lot less inclined to wealth and prosperity and more into caring for the world and fellow humans, a more genuine society.
It scares me really to think that people rather than look at the world situation, simply want to hang onto and retain thier lifestyles as if their whole existance depends on it.
